Weather Report:

Sun and clouds mixed.

Daytime highs to 73.

Overnight lows to 50.   

 

Road Construction Update:

10th Avenue west of Cushman is closed to through traffic.

Downtown Fairbanks - Sidewalk construction from 5th to 12th Avenue between Cushman and Noble.

South Fairbanks Construction - Bjerremark, Rickert and Gateway subdivisions.  Construction between South Cushman and South Lathrop and from 21st to 29th.  Look for closures and detours on Bjerremark, Mercier, Turner, Gillam, Barnette, Wilson, 24th and 26th.

Gold Hill Road - Construction through September.  Expect pilot car operations, flaggers and single lane traffic.

Steese Highway - Construction.  Southbound lane restrictions from Farmer's Loop/Chena Hot Springs ramps into Fairbanks.

Holmes and Badger - Expect delays between both roads through July.

Badger Road - Construction through August.  Paving between Badger Gas and Hurst.  Expect Expect lane & sidewalk closures, flaggers, delays and detours.

Pegar Road - Night construction through September.  Expect delays at traffic signals and follow detours through August.  Lane restrictions in both directions north of Airport Way.

College Road - Construction through September.  Closed between Old Steese and Steese until July 31st. Follow detours.

Richardson - Construction through October.  New traffic pattern at MP 295.  Expect reduced speeds, reduced speeds, lane restrictions and detours.

Denali Highway - Construction at MP 112 through October.  Expect short delays.

Parks Highway - Construction through October.  Be prepared for delays of up to an hour at times.

Parks Highway - Construction at various points between MP 305 and 192 and from MP 91 into Anchorage.  Expect delays, traffic revisions and detours.

Alaska Highway - Construction through September.  From MP 1354 to MP 1365.  Detours, delays up to 20 minutes, reduced speeds, heavy equipment, flagging and pilot car operations, pavement breaks, night work, lane restrictions
