Bride Furious Over How Dress Looks Realizes Her Very Embarrassing Mistake

A wedding is one of the most important events in the life of a married person, so it's not surprising that brides and grooms-to-be want everything to be perfect. When preparing for the big day, they often iron out every detail, and one of the most important details for many brides is their dress.

That was definitely the case for one woman from Louisville, Kentucky, who took her time selecting exactly what she wanted to wear as she walked down the aisle. She eventually found the perfect dress online, but when it arrived, it looked nothing like the one she saw on a mannequin in photos. Utterly disappointed that she'd have to start her dress search all over again, she wrote the company an angry letter, demanding a refund and including photos of the dress she ordered alongside pics of her in the one she was sent, pointing out all the missing features.

The company calmly replied to her, simply writing, "Hi, you put the dress on inside out, please put it on the right way."

Finding humor in the situation, the bride-to-be shared what happened on Facebook, writing in her caption, "Who knew that they shipped wedding dresses inside out? 🤣 ...the dress actually turned out beautiful. Sometimes it doesn't matter how much school we put behind us... we're still going to lack common sense, like how to put clothes on properly."

The bride also wrote, "[The company] probably didn’t appreciate my angry email, this post is the least I could do to thank them for 'fixing' the problem (me, the problem was me). But I hope they appreciated a good laugh."

Plenty of commenters seemed to, with one even writing, "Thank you for this! I needed the laugh! I just love you! You looked beautiful, even inside out!"

As for the bride, she's promised to take a "real pic" when she she finally gets to have her ceremony in "a pandemic-free setting." She added, "The save the dates we send out to our loved ones are for sure gonna say something like 'to see the dress worn right.' You can cry about the disasters and imperfect moments that hit us when we least expect them, or you can laugh into forever."
