The Fairbanks Community Food Bank needs our help. This year, more than ever, food levels are at an all-time low and as the holidays are already here the food bank needs extra supplies to fill food boxes for the less fortunate in our community. Current Fairbanks Community Food Drives
The Fairbanks Community Food Bank wants to make it as easy as possible for anyone with a spare can of food to make a donation. If YOU want to do a canned food drive, please contact Wendy or Rebecca at 45-SHARE and let them know so we can add your name to this list.
These are the current canned food drives being organized by the following groups:
*Midas-3449 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK
*Alaska Rubber-210 E Van Horn Road, Fairbanks, AK
*HooDoo Brewing Company-1951 Fox Ave, Fairbanks, AK (Saturday, Dec. 7th from 11a-5p)
Come to the 6th Annual Reindeer and Beer Festival where you get your photo taken with an elf and REAL REINDEER (from Archipelago Farms) when you bring in food items! All ages are welcomed. All food items collected will go to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank and then be handed out to those in need of food for the holidays.
Also during the month of December Kinross Gold will be matching all cash donations given to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.
